TOGETHER
WE CAN SOLVE
CUCKOOING
IN SEFTON

WHAT IS
‘CUCKOOING?’

Cuckooing is when vulnerable people are targeted by criminal gangs.

They’re chosen because they are old or young, isolated, mentally ill, disabled, drug or alcohol dependent.

Gangs intimidate them, and move into their house. They use it as a base to store and sell things like drugs or weapons.

It brings crime, violence, exploitation to the community. It makes life a misery.

Together we can stop it.
